I'm interested in knowing anything about the Pension Office which existed in
Madison in the early 1850's. My ancestor, Thomas BRONAUGH, had a War of
1812 pension and his file shows correspondence with the pension office in
Madision. I'm particularly interested in knowing if any records from this
office have been preserved locally (I know what they have in Washington, but
wondered if there was anything in Madison that could be searched relating to
this office).
Thanks,
