Hi Listers
I know that, as a genealogist, it is important to keep our research
organized -- to know where we have been, and where we need to go yet. I
wanted to pass along a bit of info about a program I found that can help
with this and that I find very useful. I heard about it on the mailing list
for my genealogy program, Reunion. I tried it and like it very much. It is
not a commercial program and is, in fact, FREE and is available for both
Windoze and Macs. It is a record keeping system, and not meant to replace
your normal genealogy program (FTM, Reunion, etc.) It was designed primarily
for researchers who use laptops for their research, but would be very
helpful to anyone, especially if your handwriting for your note taking is as
bad as mine! It is a set of databases that are totally searchable and each
record can be printed up to be placed in your paper files. I find it is a
great way to keep all my research organized. Anyone interested can check it
out at:

I hope that I haven't irritated anyone with this post. I am not affiliated
with this program in any way. Just a very happy user who wanted to spread
the good word about a great tool to help others.
Kathy
