Dear List,
If you are new to our site, we hope you will check out our census page,
military books, and directories. The Census page include the complete 1790
US Heads of Families Census, the 1840 Pensioner's Census, and several Native
Indian Rolls from the turn of the 20th century:

The military books are at:

This week we have added the following books to our directory page:
http://directory.evendon.com
1788-1890 Gazetteer - Genesee County, NY - This book includes a reference map
1881 Gazetteer - Maine
1890 Gazetteer - Massachusetts
1914 Police Pension Records - New York City
Pittsburgh Directories: 1867, 1899, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1905, 1907, 1908, 1910,
1912, 1914
Many of our Pittsburgh Directories and other local materials come from the University
of Pittsburgh Digital Research Library. We have been able to dramatically improve the
searchable indices for more than 50 of these including the 10 directories we've just
added, most of the 19th Century Pittsburgh directories, the 1930 directory, the Homestead
directories, and many of
the books on our "SmallBooks" page. In particular, the directory indices are
now accurate
enough to make a search on a specific street address worthwhile.
We hope you find the material on our site useful and return often.
