Why: To meet "long lost relations" and, hopefully, further enhance our
research by sharing.
Details: We will have access to the Jay County Genealogical Societies'
records. Copies cost 10 cents. There is a sandwich shop next door if you
do not wish to bring a brown bag lunch.
There are other events taking place in the county during the week so motel
reservations (if needed) ahead of time would be a good idea.
Some known family ties are: Lewis Phillips b. 1793 m. (1) Elizabeth Gift
b. 1794 (2) Christina Robbins b. 1805. Children: Philip, John, Jacob,
David, <Elizabeth or Catherine>?,< J.M.>?, Jonas, Mordicai, and Elias. This
family started in Preble, Ohio and most of them migrated to
Jay and Randolph, IN.
If you have questions about more of the family ties, we will be sharing and,
hopefully, adding to these family trees.
Hope to see you there.
