The Civil War discharges are located at the Recorders Office at the
courthouse in Portland. There aren't any grave registration cards that I
know of. However, most of the cemeteries have been transcribed, and the
transcribed records are located at the Jay Co. Genealogy Society; about a
half block for the courthouse.

Subject: [INJAY] Civil War research
I noticed the Civil War discharges on the Jay Co site. Where are they
located?
Also, are there graves registration cards for Jay County? If so, where are
they?
Thanks!
