Jane, I believe I've met you once at the Randolph County Historical Museum. If you
sent the picture of the school, I never got it. I was at a Indiana Yearly Meeting
(Quaker) the last weekend of July, was eating supper with a missionary serving in Belize
(Mike Cain), and low and behold, he grew up near Bryant, he told me that my
Grandfather's gas station was the one on the northwest corner of US27 and IN18. He
said that there was a barber's chair in it as well but never knew of my grandfather
cutting hair, I never heard he had either so why it was in there is a mystery. So that
night after supper, on our way home, we stopped long enough to take pictures of the gas
station. I would like to know more about it if you have anything. Mike is about a year
or two younger than my mother, but he lived out on a Bailey farm west of Bryant and went
to a different school so he didn't know her. Poling I think was the name of the
school he went to. Said it is
also gone. Thanks, Andrea

Dear Andria,
I will send you a copy of the picture of the Bryant School later in the day.
I will do some research on the gas station.
