Something else I am currently working on....
About a month ago I started scanning the Jay Co. Marriage returns. The marriage returns
contain all of the good genealogy data, such as names, parents names (including mothers
maiden name), age, occupation, birthplace, witnesses, etc. Tons of great data on the
marriage returns. I am just about to complete the first cd that will be available of
these. This one covers 5 years of marriage returns from Jan. 1920 thru Dec. 1924. I have
scanned these to an adobe file which can be viewed with the "free Adobe Reader
software that can be downloaded from the internet. I will probably include the Adobe
Reader software on the cd. I am also indexing these by bride and groom name. These are
set up so that you simply click the name of the person, and it takes you directly to the
scanned image of that persons marriage return. There are nearly 1,000 marriage returns on
this first cd. This first cd should be available in the next few days.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions regarding these.
