Miss Novana Claycomb Wedded Saturday Evening By Rev. Nall
Will Live Near Redkey,
With Husband, John Denney, Expects to Make Home in Jay County.
Saturday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home of the bride the wedding of Miss
Movana Claycomb and John Denney was solemnized, Rev. Nall of the Redkey United Brethren
church performing the ceremony. The wedding march was played by Miss Ethel Bair while the
wedding party took their places before the officiating minister. The bride was attended
by Miss Bertha Zigler while E.M. Daniels served as best man.
The color scheme of the wedding was pink and white and both bride and bridesmaid were
attired in white and carried white and pink carnations. The two course luncheon which
also carried out the color scheme as far as possible was served to over two hundred
guests.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Claycomb of Green township and the
bridegroom is the son of Wilson Denny of Muncie. The young people left immediately for
their new home near Redkey.
