Subject: [INJAY] Salamonie
Hi all. It has been pointed out to me that I should make sure that
everyone is aware that Phyllis & Jay Franklin put together a great book of
transcriptions for the Salamonie Cemetery. The book includes some other
information in addition to the transcriptions from the stones, such as some
marriages, maiden names of women, etc. on some of the folks buried there.
The book includes all three cemeteries that are now referred to as
Salamonie; i.e., includes East Park, West Park, and Grandview. The book is
available from the Genealogy Society, and all proceeds from it go to the
Genealogy Society. This, as well as other Jay Co. research materials are
listed on the Jay Co. Genealogy Societies web page at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~injay/research/jaygene.htm If you have ancestors
buried at Salamonie, you'll find this book an excellent source.
