Indeed. Many things are indexed on the webpage. Just go to the main page and click to
search the "database". In addition to the searchable database, you will also
find a link for the index to the 1840 census (done by me), and the 1850 census (also done
by me). I provided the index for both of these several months back. The 1850 is an
"every name" index. In other words, this index includes the names of every
person in the county in 1850 regardless of whether or not they are head of household. You
will find links to both of these indexes on the main page.
Be sure to check the searchable database on the webpage for your Jay Co. ancestors. There
is a lot of stuff in the database.
