HI, Jumping in to add that my ggrandfather's death cert. 1908 listed the
funeral director as Baird Hardy Funeral, Portland, Indiana. Another
relative 's death cert. 1919, listed J.L. Baird, Portland, Indiana.

I think when i was at the Jay County Library, there was a book that had
copies of funeral home records.
But i am sorry i dont remember what years it contained in it. Sorry i am not
much help.Ah but wait my brain is working it had several books of the
funeral home records, it think the funeral home is called baird-freeman. Not
postive on that
