To Maggie in NZ: Re Derryvane, Donegal WILEYs - What a WONDERFUL Xmas present to get in
touch with some new relatives ! ! Since my second cousin Sharon Leigh in Indiana and I
got together in 1984, she has been the only one I knew who was interested in pursuing our
Derryvane heritage. When I was in Ireland in '97, I didn't realize how close it
was to Londonderry.
One of my daughters is lately getting interested in this pursuit, with her kids'
Austrian ancestry to add to the melange of surnames.
Hope everyone has had a happy Christmas and will have a great New Year ahead.
Glad Lindel is on the mend. Take care.

Hi Margaret,
I may well have a Christmas present for you in the New Year. Am in contact with a lady in
England who is married to a Wiley brought up on the family farm in Derryvane. She has
completed a tree for her granddaughter. I have interests in the Wiley families of
Derryvane also. She sent me a video of a vacation in Ireland - also I have a photo of the
Wiley house at Derryvane. I don't know how far back she has gone, but she may have
something to help you. Will be in touch after the holidays. Christmas Day here tomorrow.
