Hi!
A search of LDS film #549381, Harrison County Indiana Court Records, yielded the following
entries involving Keller.
April Term 1817
1)Jonathan Keller vs. James Pell et. al., in debt.
July Term 1817
2)Edward Smith vs. Jonathan Keller, from [?] & conversion. Jury couldn't reach a
verdict; jury dismissed, case continued.
April Term 1818, 7th day
3)James Filer vs. John Kellar & John B. Kellar, debt
November term 1819 11th day
4)Indiana vs. Jonathan Keller, assault & battery
November term 1819, November 30, 1819
5)Indiana vs. Jonathan Keller, assault & battery. Keller pleads guilty, fined $1.00.
I am related to a Keller family in Harrison County by way of my Cotner family. I am
descended from John Cotner, father of David Cotner, father of Sarah Cotner Adams. John
Cotner was the husband of Mary Polly Keller, who was the daughter of John Keller and
Jerusha Barrett Keller. Obviously, these court records aren't knockdown evidence that
I am related to the Kellers referenced, but I have strong suspicions that I am.
