I am descended from Sarah Ann Shelton and David B. Rich. I have suspected that
David's parents were Joseph Rich and Sarah. I believe this entry settles that
David's father was Joseph Josiah Rich. David's father was id'd by both Josiah
and Joseph.
It appears that Sarah Ann Shelton has a sister named Elizabeth and a mother named
Elizabeth. The speculation has been that her parents were Thomas Shelton and Mary
Jameson. I guess it's possible that Mary Jameson had the name of Mary Elizabeth. I
will have to check further on that.
I would be glad to correspond with anyone else researching these families.
