I have a page photocopied of this manuscript in hopes of helping me with my
WAUGHTEL/SUMMA branch of the family. While following census records, some
of the information in this supplemental doesn't quite fit ~ ~ (unless of
course I am doing something wrong, which is very easy for me). Some of the
ages given are prox 10 years off from the census records I have found. Of
course these names are fairly "common" and could be a completely different
branch of the SUMMA line itself.
One item that I have never been able to "resolve" to my satisfaction is the
date of death of Jane (WAUGHTEL) SUMMA. From records I have found
(marriages - she married twice, although all the children carry the SUMMA
name in the census records I feel that the first two were actually STARK/S
through the first marriage)
Is there anyone in Jackson County who might be able to check on this for me.
One in particular listed in this manuscript - George SUMMA shown D/D Jan 20,
1911,.
There are a few shown to be children of George SUMMA & wife Rhoda
WEBB-BROWN.
If this isn't clear please do not hesitate to write me at waughtel(a)oz.net
Thank you.
