Hi everyone,
I haven't posted in a long while...put this family info hunting thing 'away'
for awhile because it was frustrating me so! Anyway, trying to get back into it and am at
such a roadblock. W.H. Armbruster is not listed on anything I can find on the Jackson
County/ Lawerance County sites, except on one Business Directory I found. He ran a store
"Armbruster & Sons" I am told by my mother and I have the photo to prove. I
was told it was in Kurtz in the late 1880's (maybe earlier too) but I can't find a
record of it. An old envelope with my grandmother's things says Armbruster &
Sons, paint/mercantile/merchandise
Judson, Parke County. ?? I am trying to find where W.H. Armbruster ties in. I am told
he married Anna Mary Earhardt. Anna Mary Earhardt was first married to Goodloup
Beutelspacher, they had a son named Charles G. Beutelspacher (my grandmother's
grandfather, my GGG grandfather. After Goodloup died, she remarried...W.H.Armbruster. He
had children named: Lucy, John, Howard, Pauline. W.H. Armbruster died April, 1916 and was
78 years old. Is my GG grandfather Charles G. Beutelspacher 1/2 brother to
Lucy,Pauline,John, and Howard? I believe so but can't find significant evidence! I
have reason to believe from listening to my mother a couple of years ago that the
Armbrusters were a prominent family in the area, why can I find absolutely nothing on
them? !!! EEk! Any help anyone could offer would be very appreciated! Ashley Remeta
