I was wondering if the Weddell Cemetery in Jackson Co. Indiana was in very good shape?
Also how big a cemetery it is? I got on
findagrave.com and found the cemetery, but there
were no entries of who was buried there. I was just wondering if it would be worth my
time to go over there from Southern Illinois and look. My relatives from way back are
supposedly buried there: John Weddle (died in 1857) and his wife Mary Polly (Curry) Weddle
(died in 1860). They had a daughter named Sarah who married my great great great
Grandfather William Kelley in Jackson Co. Indiana on July 21, 1836. William & Sarah
moved to Southern Illinois between 1850 & 1860.
