I do know the Jackson Co., IN Genealogical Society has my publication
as I
donated a new set to them about 2 yrs ago as their old set was really ragged.
This new set is a 3 volume set which has additional information on some of
the brides/grooms. My books have always covered a period of 1816-1920.
The Denver Library ordered the book from me, I am positive. Especially if it
is in 2 volumes. That would have been before I added the additional
information which took me to 3 volumes. I have't seen the set that the
Jackson Co. Gen Soc. has, guess I need to make a visit to their
headquarters, which I hear is quite unique! I am terrible for not visiting
sooner.
My book gives the bride/groom & groom/bride (complete alpha), date of
marriage, after 1882, birthdate, book and page number where the actual record
may be located in the clerk's office in Jackson Co. The 3 volume gives data
such as age at time of marriage, place of burial if buried in Jackson,
parents when known, etc. This additional information is taken from other
sources, cemetery, history, tradition (so may be errors), etc.
Hope this helps. As I say, I do have the books available at $55 plus $5.50
shpg & hdlg. I will drop the price to $50 for price this month since it is
getting so much publicity! hehehehe! :)
I need permission, I think to list my ad to the list page, don't I?
