Listers,
I have been doing research on the Poor family in Jackson County, Indiana.
What I need is Primary source information to prove Samuel Miller Poor to his
father Wendell Poor. There is lots of circumstantial evidence, but nothing
that the SAR will accept as proof. I have found evidence for Wendell on
back, the Massachusetts records are very good. Samuel is buried somewhere in
Jackson County. His wife Julia Ann (Wininger) Poor is buried at Blockton,
Taylor County, Iowa next to her son James H Poor. Wendell is also buried at
Blockton. I have included an extraction of what I have found, so if anything
rings a bell let me know.
