I am searching for Lucinda Day b. 1800-1808. Lucinda Day married my ancestor Dr. Jeremiah
Brower( b. 1801 NY) at Jackson Co. IN in 1826.
They moved to Marion Co MO as of 1830, and Lucinda died there in 1836.
Lucinda named her first child Julie Ann (Juliann). This name is not a common name among
the Brower family, does anyone recognise this name among the DAY families?
I have found all the DAY men of Jackson Co., IN in an effort to find her father and her
siblings. I feel she must have originated from one of these early families to Jackson Co
In.
1. Elias Day, Jackson Co., IN, has land records recorded there from 10-4-1824 to 5-1-1845.
He had a daughter Lydia M. DAY who married Mr. Jacob Brown.
2. Nathan Day, Jackson Co., IN, has land records from 5-10-1848
3. James S. Day, Jackson Co., IN. has land records there from 3-28-1832 to 5-1-1856
4. Aaron C. Day, Jackson Co., IN, has land records there from 4-27-1825 to 10-1-1834
These 4 men may be related, or not at all. But they were all together as very early
settlers.
Not only did 2 of my Brower brothers marry DAY girls, but at the Jackson Co Couthouse in
1827 the Brower brothers (John, Jeremiah and Lawyer) are all recorded at a courthouse
estate sale, buying household items with: Elias Day and William Day. This may be a
coincidence or not.
Best regards,
Lillian Kathleen Martin
