Nice to know that the Jackson Co. people are swift. Do you have any idea
who I would write to to find out a cemetery inscription? I need to know the
date of Robert Jackson, Jr's death. He m. Margaret Henthorn. He died in
the l840's and lived in Charlestown Twp. Anyone game for tredging thru a
cemetery or are there cemetery books there?

Subject: [INJACKSO] Jackson County Health Dept.
I don't know if anyone on the list has ever had any dealings with
the
Health
Department in Jackson County, but I just wanted to give the people
that
work
there a big thumbs up. I sent for my great grandfather's death
certificate,
and from the time I sent for it and received it back in the mail was
exactly
one week. The lady I talked to on the phone when I needed some
information
was very helpful and told me to write in my letter to them that it was for
genealogical purposes because if I did they would put more information on
it,
if they had it. Very helpful agency to deal with.
