Illness Is Fatal To Ella F. Wever
Ella Frances Wever of Fairview Community, Bedford, R.R. 6, passed away at
the Wever Residence at 10 o'clock last night. She had been in failing health
for a year. Her final illness lasted six days.
Mrs. Wever was born in Ohio on August 29, 1864, the daughter of Jacob and
Rachael Ann Gerhart Burford. In early life she married Jacob T. Wever in
Jackson County, Ind. He preceded her in death in 1925.
Surviving relatives are a son, Roy B. Wever of Englewood, Bedford, R.R. 1, a
stepson, Thomas Wever of Jackson County, Ind., four brothers, Dan Burford of
Laharpe, Ill.; Reuben and Joe Burford of Dallas City, Ill.; and Eph Burford
of Bloomington, Ind. Additional survivors are three grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wever was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at 2:00 o'clock in the
afternoon at the Fairview Church.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Sherwood and Ferguson Funeral Home and
the body will lie in state there.
The final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery.
