There was indeed a railroad through Norman Station until the 1960's. I'm
not sure if there was ever a stage station there.

I live next door to Jackson County and have been in Norman Station

times. My husband's Arthur Family came from there. It is just a tiny
town
now, mostly just country. There is no railroad there, so I would
imagine
that it was a station for a stagecoach. Jackson County is in in The
Hoosier Nation Forest and is a most beautiful place to see. I really like
Norman Station as well. It is typical Indiana.
