Thanks everyone for all the help. Part of Owen now being in Lawrence makes
sense, I have an obit that says one of my relatives was born near Clear
Springs and that looks like it's now in Lawrence. Thanks again for all the
help.

Some of my family came from Owen Twp., Jackson Co. BUT it later became a
part of Lawrence Co.
SO look in Lawrence Co. Records while you are so close to that area.
Everything is in Bedford. Historical Society, Court House, Library
collection. Roberta Turpin Willett , Rose City, MI
