Erin,
I found Davis cemetery on my Jackson Co. map. It is located at he
intersection of C.R. 275 N or Clearspring Rd and C.R. 650W or Hobson
Hill.
It is on the east side of the township. I'm sorry I didn't
see any church
near there, perhaps someone who is more familiar with Owen township can
help
you there. The death records are located in the health department.
You
don't
need to have the page numbers or the exact dates, it just makes it
much
faster for you. They are very nice and will let you look at just about all
the books you want to. The Seymour library has newspapers on microfilm,
the
Brownstown library (not the genealogy library) probably has them too.
The
Jackson Co. genealogy library is an excellent source for records. They
have
many funeral home records, plus other information that the public
libraries
don't have, but you will need to go to both libraries to get all
your
information. Good Luck!
