Oh, please, me too, Lewis!
William and Nancy Ann were my relative also (William Cox --Jonathon
Cox--WIlliam Franklin Cox--Hattie B Cox [ my grandmother]).
Thanks
Sherri

The school and meeting house was constructed circa 1816 on the property
of my 2nd great grandfather's brother-in-law William Cox and his sister
Nancy Ann Ruddick Cox and identified as the Driftwood MM. Later it was
move to the location where a cemetery and structure remain. The
original cemetery is located on a private parcel and was in terrible
condition when I visited in 1990. This is in stark contrast to the
newer cemetery found at the relocated site. I can provide you a sketch
map showing the location of the original MM. Nothing remains of what
was New Farmington.

I am trying to find the name of the Quaker church that was near New Farmingto
n, IN.
I also have information stating that there was a school in the area
near the Quaker meeting house in the early 1800s and would also like to find out
what the name of the school was. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Debby
