Subject: [Jackson Co IN] School attendance listings for Jackson Co
previousto 1865
Are there records of school attendees in schools in all of Jackson
County?
My Anthony W Meyers / Myers / Myres / etc. was married twice (or more) in
Jackson County.
1st (or 2nd) wife: Lucinda Beem (may be a widow and could be her married
name ... I can't find a trace of her family) b 1820 in Indiana, m 27 May
1843 in Jackson County IN, d 11 Dec 1850 in Brownstown, Jackson Co IN.
2nd (or 3rd) wife: Rebecca H Jones ... a widow and we cannot read the
writing on the marriage records to ascertain the proper last name. She
was
b 19 Jun 1827 in Indiana, m 10 Feb 1851 in Jackson Co IN, d 16 Jan
1906 in
Valley Falls, Jefferson Co KS.
Anthony's children who would be school age previous to 1865 when they
moved
to Kansas were:
Francis Marion Myers / Meyers / Myres/ etc. b abt 1853 in Jackson Co
Indiana
Belle Dora Myers born 1855 in Jackson Co Indiana
Thanks ... Nickie
