Reynolds at Medora, a few days ago wantonly beat to death an old man named
Wright at Salem.

Reynolds, George W. -- Geo. W. Reynolds Esq., who resided in the river
bottoms of Brownstown Twp., for about 25 yrs., d. Fri. last. He was b. in
Tenn., April 15, 1812. He leaves a wife & 7 children. His remains were
deposited in the burial ground at Brownstown.

Reynolds, Thomas--Thomas Reynolds d. in Owen Twp. at the residence of his
son-in-law, David Kyte, on Sat., Oct. 6. He was b. Sept. 14, 1796, in Stokes
Co., N.C., & moved to Shelby Co., Ky., near Mt. Eden, in 1818, where his
father had moved 2 yrs. previously. there he m. Hannah McAlister in 1819. In
1825 he removed to Law. Co.,
Ind., near Heltonville. In 1840 he removed to near Leesville. He raised a
family of 7 girls & 3 boys, all of whom survive him except for 2 daughter.
His wife d. April 9, 1865. He made his home with his son, near Leesville, on
the old homestead. On the first day of July he came to David Kyte's on a
visit.

son of Luther Whitten, was shot and almost instantly killed by Mike Reynolds,
a glass worker.
