Wilson, Child -- The Shelbyville Banner says that a little 5 mos. old child
of Mr. Wm. S. Wilson, of that county was burned to death on Tues. last by
falling from a chair onto a heap of coals.

Wilson, Grant--Grant Wilson, a colored man, was waylaid & shot near his home
above Rockford, because he was a witness in the U.S. Circuit Court.

house. These were colored men and the killing though evidently malicious, was
partly excusable, & the case was finally thrown out of court.

Courtland, Aug. 18, Mrs. Mary E. Wilson, widow of Wm. Wilson, in the 68th yr.

several yrs. ago. She leaves 4 children to mourn her.

Wilson, Bruce --- died at the residence of Jacob Louden, in this place, Sat.,
of an acute attack of imfammatory rheumatism, aged some 23 years. He was a
son of James Wilson, who died several yrs. ago. His remains were interred in
the Ray burying grounds in Owen Township.

5, 1819. She married Mr. Wilson on March 14, 1844. She d. Sep. 16, 1886. She
emigrated with her husband to Ind. in the fall of 1853. She leaves a husband &
1 son.

Wilson, Merritt -- Died at the residence of his mother on Indianapolis Ave.,
Wed., Feb. 24, Merritt Wilson, in the 35th yr. of his age. "Shortie" Wilson
first entered the service of the O&M road about 13 yrs. ago. About 3 yrs.,
ago he received severe injuries in an accident, from which he never fully
recovered. His mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson, & sister Josie, survive him,
here. A married sister resides in Lawrenceburg & another sister resides at
Cincinnati.

Wilson, William -- aged about 42 yrs., was struck & killed by a charge of
electricity during the heavy rain storm, yesterday afternoon, at his home on
E. 2nd street. He leaves a wife, 1 step-dau. & 2 small children. He moved to
this city from Evansville about 2 yrs. ago, & entered the employ of the O&M
road as a brakeman.

consumption, Mrs. Asbury Wilson, aged about 30 years. Emma Barkman was b. in
the Newry neighborhood. Her husband & 2 little sons survive her. She was laid
to rest, this afternoon, in the Grassy Fork Cemetery.

Wilson, Henry -- Uncle Henry Wilson, of Chrisstaiansburg, Brown Co., about 3
weeks ago went to Wayne Co., Ill. to visit his married dua., & was stricken
down with pneumonia & died. On Mon., Feb. 13, his remains were brought home &
interred in the cememtery at Christainsburg on Feb. 15. This is the second
time that Mrs. Wilson has been left a widow. Several children survive him.
Uncle Henry was about 60 yrs. old.

fever, John E. Wilson, aged 74 years. He was a native of Jefferson Co., but
he had resided near Cana for nearly 70 years. Justice Wilson leaves a wife &

shot herself with a shotgun, death ensuing instantly. She was a sister of
Trustee Josephus Goss. Her husband and 1 dau. survives her.
