Greetings INJACKSO-Lers
& specifically James, Don, Mary & Dolores,
Since I subscribe to the digest version of list, thought I'd try
replying in digest form. Hope this works (apologies in advance for
the length):
James & anyone else wondering:
Yes, the library is open from 1 to 5 pm Sundays (& although I wasn't
on the schedule, I can attest it was open today).
I believe the only Sunday closings left this year are weekends of
Labor Day, Christmas and New Year's Eve. The previous closings have
been on Easter and Memorial Day weekends.
The library board schedules closings for a year at a time and those
are posted on the library Web site. My work schedule includes one
Sunday a month and is posted on the LFH pages (although I seldom work
exactly that schedule <g> ).

Don,
Since Dolores already has seen the much-deserved praise for her work
on the Jackson County genealogy pages (which I agree show a great deal
of time and effort on her part), I'll just second the praise and
before moving on to your library question, will insert part of another
message and a comment:
Sounds good Dolores. Why not organize a reunion, cemetery tour and
Geneaological tour for the list?
Just wanted to second that thought also. Know you have lots going on
with the list and the pages (& probably another life besides) ... but
possibly some folk here in the county would lend a hand? Could help
us newcomers (I've only lived here a little over 20 years and still
regularly learn new names and places) and those who have been here a
generation or six get better acquainted with a very interesting area.
Understand the folk from Venne area of Germany are planning a visit
next July?
And now returning to the previously interrupted message:
Just checked the computer catalog & do not see the _John Weddle_
book. I'm at home so I can't check the union list (OCLC) to see who
might have it, but I will try to send myself a reminder at the
library. Perhaps someone else on the list will know if JCGS has
it.

Charlotte,
[Good words for Dolores's Jackson County list & pages. ...]
Does the Seymour Library have a copy of the book, "John Weddle," author
Elizabeth Weddle Mueting. I have her book, "Kinfolks: Weddle, Sullivan,
Gable, Roach." I have seen a Xerox copy the John Weddle book, (I believe at
the JCGS library). The reason for the question is to see if it might be
available for ILL. ...

Mary,
Glad _you_ found the information. Remember, I only planted some
possibilities. You did the digging for the harvest. Thanks for your
kind words. May your future hunting find treasures from the past!

Charlotte,
I just want to thank you again for all the help you gave me when I was at
the library on July 24. I found at least two new pieces of information and
got leads to follow for several more. You are a jewel!
