Mrs. J.F. CURRY and son Hugh, have been visiting the family of Alva
SUTHERLAND at Leesville.
Thos. CHASE and wife spent Sunday with Everett HENDERSON and family near
Leesville.
Roscoe FOUNTAIN spent Saturday night and Sunday with his cousin, Walter
FOUNTAIN, at Sparksville.
Isaac HARREL and family, of Clear Spring, spent Sunday in the family of
Curtis GALLION.
We are requested to announce that there will be Children's Day exercises at
the Pleasant Ridge church the first Sunday night in June. Everybody invited
to come.
Master Mallie GALLION has been suffering for several days with inflamatory
rheumatism. Dr. WILSON, of Medora, is the attending physician.
Miss Pearl PARIS, who is staying in the family of Alva SUTHERLAND, at
Leesville, was called home Sunday, her brother Tommy being worse.
Mrs. Myrtle GILBERT and children spent Wednesday night and Thursday with her
parents, Eli WOOLERY and wife, at Pea Ridge.
Sherman TURRELL received a message that his uncle, Oscar TURRELL of
Harrison, Ohio, was dead. He went Tuesday to attend the funeral.
Miss Zola WEDDELL, who has been sick for several months, is some better at
this writing.
Mrs. Eva FOUNTAIN, of Sparksville, visited in the family of Ida FOUNTAIN,
Friday.
Olander HOLWELL, of Marion, spent a few days with Mr. KENDELL and family. He
is looking for a location here.
We are sorry to learn that Miss Cora WRAY has the malaria fever.
Several from this place attended the funeral of Orville HUNSUCKER at
Heighton Hill last Tuesday.
Miss Mamie GALLION was the guest of her friend Bertha FOUNTAIN, Sunday.
