There was an early Soloman COX family who were Quakers; arriving and
settling there before 1825 from North Carolina as well as a William COX
family who originated in Deleware before 1725. My reference to the latter
ends with William Cox b. 1772 who married Nancy Ann RUDDICK. This is
referenced in ³The Ruddick Family in America² by John
W. Hanneman. Since this family came into my line as a second wife to a
gggrandfather of mine. So I have not worked on the Cox¹s nor brought them
down to your date.
