Ruth: I checked my IN Marriage Index and found
that Dawson Smith married Elizabeth Boling October 1, 1885 in Jackson Co. IN. He married
Nellie Boling September 20, 1891 in Jackson Co. IN. I wasn't sure if you had his
wives' names.
This Ella Boling who was in the census with Dawson's children has to be some kind of
kin.
Lawrence Smith was born in Bedford, IN. When he registered for the WW1 draft he was
single and lived at 1104 E 21st St. Anderson.
I found the children in the 1900 census with Ella Bolling. If you need reference let me
know.
Virgil Smith was born August 23, 1892 in Seymour, IN. When he registered for the WW1 draft
he was married and had 2 children. He was employed at Maxwell Mtr. Co. in Newcastle, IN.
His WW2 card showed his wife's name as Pauline. He was age 49 when he registered. His
residence was Indianapolis, Marion Co. IN. He was employed as Custodian School in
Indianapolis.
Good luck with your search.
