I am not that far back. There are three Bertrams buried in the Smallwood Cemetery in Jackson County, Indiana that I am trying to connect to.
Do you know who they are, or any knowledge of them?
Joe

I sent you an email some time ago. I am curious to find out where you got so much information. Bezalil Daniels, the farmer, died of blood poisoning from a cut he got while farming. His son, Gilbert Wayne Daniels, had a son of the same name, with his wife, Anne, who goes by the same name.

Darlene. Not related, just trying to help. No proof on the following, just an educated guess. I believe this is the one you are looking for. Mary Jane Cockerham married Hiram Wells in Jackson county on 7 Apr 1850. In the 1850 they are living with or next door to her parents and he is 26, she is 21. In the 1860 census they are living with his mother in Washington county, Pierce township and he is 36 and she is 30. In 1850 his mother was also living in Jackson county. Don

I am trying to find a person by the name of William Mitchel or Mitchell, his middle name may be Albert. I was told he was born in Ireland, possibly Northern Ireland around Ulster, around 1798 - 1800. I know that at some point he lived in Jackson Co, Indiana because he married his wife, Susannah Hensley there in 1821. They then moved to Johnson Co, Indiana with her family, her father was Richardson Hensley. The Hensley family came here from Kentucky. I am really stuck here and I would appreciate any help that anyone could offer. I have a lot of other information on this family if anyone would like anything that I can offer. Thank you for your help.

One of these may be your Mary It is the only two listed in the IN. death records and the only one listed in Jackson co. death index with the E. You can do the math on which one. You can use the fishie nu. and maybe it will give more info. also , do you live in Jackson CO. If so you can get the death certificate , it may give more info. Like her husband, or parents .Good luck!

Yeah, I noticed that Gasper & Sarilda had Thomas F. Weddle. That's why I was unsure as to if he was the father of Thomas H. Weddle. I know they have different mothers, but would a father want to give two sons the same name?
My family lived in the same area for the longest time, yet records seem to be hard to find.

Sarilda Weddle was the daughter of John D. Weddle who was a son of Daniel. She died Apr 29- 1884. Then Gasper married Mary E. Durham on May 20- 1893 Book Jpage 574. Gasper died Mar. 15- 1898. He was 53 when he married your Mary E. Durham .I don't know how old your Mary was when they married but He could have had children with her.
By the way , Gasper did have a son named Thomas F. Weddle not Thomas H. And he was the son of Gasper and Sarilda not Mary E. This is from the Elizabeth Mueting Weddell book. I have found a lot in her book
that is wrong and a lot that is right so, take your pick.
the marriage dates came from the Jackson co. Gen
Society in Brownstown.
