Elizabeth, this is one of those "hit the brick wall" sort of stories...my
grandfather - Charlie Franklin Finley b. 09-11-1880 to a John Franklin
Findley and Ida Crow(e).....Charlie's parents died when he was young and he
went to live with an Uncle "Ras".....Erasmus Findley...but my cousin (Judy)
has never been able to track this down either by census or a hired
researcher....so I picked up this when I started researching and there we are
no further along.....we have all of Erasmus' line but can not connect ....I
find it really strange that we have found no trace of Charlie anywhere until
he came to Red River County and married my grandmother in 1900....if you run
across him let me know.....Kaye
>From Jackson County,IN marriage records, Book O Pg 428 is the following:
Frederick A. ZIEGLER b: 08 Mar 1886 married 28 Jun 1909 to Lizzie H. GOEPPER
b: 22 Apr 1885
Is any one researching this line ?? I have reason to believe that Frederick
might be a brother to my gr-grandmother Flona Mae
SIEGLER/SIGLER/ZIEGLER.....dau of John and Sarah Loudermilk
SIGLER/SIEGLER/ZIEGLER
The "SIGLER/SIEGLER/ZIEGLER" line is a huge brick wall for me....I find
records with all spellings.....
