William Williams was born 20 December 1760 Ft. Pitt (now Allegheny Co. Pennsylvania). He
married (1) Elizabeth Dailey abt. 1786 Brunswick Co. Virginia and (2) Margaret Plunkett 13
October 1796 in Bourbon Co. Kentucky. They lived in Brunswick Co. Virginia, Bourbon Co.
Kentucky and Preble Co. Ohio.

William D. Williams- b. 04 January 1794, Brunswick Co. Virginia

Sarah "Sally" Williams- b. 25 November 1800, Bourbon Co. Kentucky
Joseph Williams- b. 20 March 1803, Bourbon Co. Kentucky
Mary "Polly" Williams- b. 30 December 1805, Near Eaton, Preble Co. Ohio
Infant Williams- b.1808- (Died in Infancy), Eaton, Preble Co. Ohio

Several descendants of this family have done DNA testing and are in Williams DNA Group 8.
The group has a Williams DNA blog which includes this family as well as many of the
ancestors of the participants in Group 8. The furthest back ancestor of DNA group 8 is
Charles Williams who died in 1692 in Charles City County, Virginia.
