Mary Louise Bellam, 84, 316 N. Lafontaine ST., died at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday (Jan.2,1991) at
Huntington Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bellam was a homemaker and member of the Central Christian Church. She was a past
president of the Christian Women's Fellowship at the church, Erie Railroad Ladies
Auxiliary, and Huntington Memorial Hospital Guild. Mrs. Bellam had worked in the office at
Huntington Memorial Hospital, the Huntington County Treasurer's Office, and Wolf &
Dessaur.
She was born Dec. 31, 1906, in Huntington, to Harvey and Mary Jacobs Ryan. Her marriage
was Oct. 12, 1935, in Covington, to Willilam H. Bellam who preceded her in death on Aug.
11, 1987.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Bellam of Huntington and Mrs. Ronald (Patricia)
Hall of Elkhart; and two grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a brother, Marion
Ryan; and sisters, Helen Ryan Crum and Loretta Ryan PeGan.
Calling will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hart Funeral Home and from noon to 1
p.m. Saturday at the Central Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1
p.m. Saturday at the church, with Rev. Cameron Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
Hope Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are contributions to the church.
