Not exactly sure what you are looking for, but Hannah's brother John was married to my
grandfather's aunt, Verilla Roberts.
According to the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home records of Warren, Huntington County,
Indiana, Hannah and John were the children of Charles F. Anders and Rosanna McGuinness.
Rosanna was born 27 April 1837 in Pennsylvania, daughter of J. McGuiness, and died 22
April 1917 in Warren. She is buried at the Mitchell Cemetery in Warren. According to
1900 census, Charles was born about May 1836 in Germany, and died sometime before August
1913 when Rosanna applied for his Civil War pension. I have a note in my records that
Charles possibly died in Michigan, but I am not sure right now why that would be.
Hannah's brother John was born 27 July 1868 in Fairfield County, Ohio and died 1 Aug
1927 in Huntington County. He and wife Verilla are buried at Taylor Cemetery in Warren.
I have no death info on Hannah and George Grant, or any other info on the two of them
other than the fact that they are in Wells County in the 1900 census and have a son named
Lewis in 1900, born Dec. 1895.
Civil War info on Charles Anders:
Enlisted as a Private on 22 August 1862 at the age of 26
Enlisted in Company K, 116th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 28 October 1862
Mustered out on 18 July 1865 in Columbus, OH
He applied for pension #45275720 June 1882
His widow, Rosann Anders, applied for pension #101254909 August 1913
Hannah and John Anders had siblings Henry, Mary C., Christopher C., and Charles F. that I
know of.
