Paula. Not related, just trying to help. Delbert E Pletcher married Josephine Brown in
Elkhart county on 12 Aug 1899, source is book 11, page 462. In the 1910 census for
Elkhart county, Baugo township, the family was headed by Delbert E Pletcher, 44, farmer,
born in Ind and both parents in Ohio, and included his wife Josephine, 29, born in
Nebraska, father in Iowa and mother in Ohio, jis daughter Nellie, 9, Ind, his daughter
Carie, 7, Ind, and his son Merril, 3, Ind. In the 1920 census for the same township, the
family was headed by Delber E Pletcher, 53, farmer, Ind, Ohio, Ohio, and included his wife
Josephine, 38, Ne, Ia, Ohio, his daughter Nellie R, 19, Ind, his son Merle D, 13, Ind, his
daughter Carrie M, 17, Ind, his daughter Daisy A, 8, and his son Walter, 6, Ind. I could
not find a marriage for the following. In the 1910 census for Elkhart county, Ward 3 of
Elkhart, the family was headed by Edward Freel, 32, a laborer in a gas plant, and included
his wife Carrie!
, 27, a laundress at home, his son Verne, 9, his son Johnnie, 8, his son Lenard, 6, his
daughter Corach, 3, and his daughter Rosetta. Something happened because Carrie Freel
married Fred Geairn in St Joseph county on 7 Aug 1916, source is book 28, page 81. In the
1920 census the family was living in Elkhart Ward 4. Hope this helps. Don
