Jere, the Finkles are a branch from my Shanehulser line. Henry Shanehulser
was the stepfather of Mary Jane who married David - Jacob Finkle's parents.
I would be happy to share information with you on the Finkles.

Warren,
I am related to the Smiths, Jones's and Keans of Warren, Ind. My mother
was
Ruth Kean; here father was CC Kean who married Bessie Jones whose
mother
was
Linnie Smith Jones. Linnie's father was Myron Smith who ran a
general
store
back in the 1800's. Her husband was George Jones who was a
descendent of
the Jones's for whom the town of Warren was originally named, Jonesboro.
Jacob Finkle, son of the original flour mill owner on the Salamonie river,
married Delia Smith who was a sister of Linnie Smith Jones.
If any of these people mean anything to you please contact me. My mother
loved that area and the family she had there.
