Ada L. Hoover, 87
ALBANY - Ada Luetta, Hoover, 87, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Ball Memorial Hospital,
after a brief illness.
Mrs. Hoover was born in Lancaster, Ind., the daughter of David and Nanny Burns. She was a
member of the Fairlawn Church of Christ.
She was a truly loving mother, dedicating her life to her family and the Lord. She was a
joy to be with, a blessing to anyone who knew her and a precious child of God.
Mrs. Hoover is survived by two sons, Michael Hoover (wife: Kathy), Albany, and Jack Hoover
(wife: Joyce), Medford, Ore.; two daughters, Nancy Dowling (husband: Charles), Columbus,
Ohio, and Karen Jackson (husband: Robert), Muncie; eight grandchildren, Wendy Goeddel
(husband: Mitch), Montana, Kristy Hammer (husband: Josh), Oregon, Tim Hoover, North
Carollina, Kim Gibson (husband: John), Ohio, Lori Guercio (husband: Scott), Ohio, Julie
Murray (husband: Greg), Ohio, Sharon Jackson, Texas, and Connie Jackson, Indiana; seven
great-grandchildren, Stephen and Melanie Goeddel, Montana, Curtis, Kyle and Katie Gibson,
Ohio, and Wesley and Cooper Murray, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law,
Georgia Burns, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Hoover; six sisters; and
seven brothers.
We will miss her dear sweet smile and fun personality that brought us all happiness and
laughter. Goodbye for now. Love from your sons, daughters, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and furry friends.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Garden View Funeral Home, with Jack Abels
offictating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
