BACKGROUND FOR THIS POSTING.
As the President of the Herrick Family Association I recently purchased a
photo album that had a photo of Myron Timothy Herrick in it. I hoped to find
other photos possibly of his ancestors or descendants. Instead he was the
only Herrick in the photo album and I am not sure why he was in it, unless
he was a cousin of the others whose names were given for the twenty-six
photos in the album. Surnames are:
BARNHILL
BINLEY
DOWNING
FOLTZ
GALLOWAY
HERRICK
LONEBRAKE(?)
SWARTZ
Locations per the photographs are:
Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., MI
Findlay, Hancock Co., OH
Huntington, Huntington Co., IN
Mendon, Mercer Co., OH
North Baltimore, Wood Co., OH
Washington, D. C.
And I know that Myron Timothy Herrick had roots in Lorain Co., OH.
DETAILS OF THE ALBUM
The album is about 8-1/2" by 11" and is quite thick at about 3-1/2," it
has
a fabric covered spine, front and back, and the front has two raised flowers
on it, (probably plastic by today's standards), with the stems missing.
There is a clasp on the right side of the album. The inside cover simply
states, "ALBUM," and has a Lion holding a shield with what looks to be the
initials of "P. E. & Co." with the words "Trade Mark" beneath the
shield
held by the Lion in his left paw.
There is no indication of who the album may have belonged to other than the
names written on some but not all of the pages that hold the photos. There
is room for thirty-two photos mounted back to back in the spaces provided on
the sixteen thick pages in the album.

Does anyone recognize any of the individuals cited above?
I would like this album to find a home where it can be appreciated, either a
descendant of someone in the album or a local Historical Society that may
recognize some of the names and possibly identify others in the album.
I am reserving the photo of Myron Timothy Herrick for the Third edition of
the Herrick Genealogical Register. If anyone would like a copy of the photo
I would be glad to scan it and send them a JPEG or image format of their
choice.
Relatively yours,
