Lois L. Booher, 86, died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday (April 25, 2006) at the United Methodist
Memorial Home in Warren, where she was a resident.
Mrs. Booher retired in 1976 from Appliance Manufacturing in Van Buren, where she had
worked for 30 years. She was a former member of the Warren Order of the Eastern Star. A
lifelong resident of Warren, she was a member of Boehmer United Methodist Church.
She was born Aug. 27, 1919 in Huntington County, to Webster J. and Mildred L. Shafer
Thompson. She attended Warren High School, and married Lawrence E. Booher in Warren in
1974. He died on Nov. 18, 1981.
Survivors include a daughter, Agatha Eubank, Syracuse; a son, Rex Cloud, Georgetown,
Texas; a stepson, Charles Booher, Warren; two sisters, Ruby Irick and Elizabeth Bolinger,
both of Warren; two brothers, Wayne Thompson, Muscatine, Iowa, and Wendell Thompson,
Warren; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elijah Thompson, Ned Thompson and John
Thompson; and a sister, Sybil Lashley.
Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Memorial Home, 801 Huntington
Ave., Warren, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday with Pastor
Barry Humble officiating.
Burial will be at the Thompson Home Cemetery, Warren.
Preferred memorials are to Boehmer United Methodist Church, 3467S-600W, Liberty Center, IN
46766; or to the Thompson Home Cemetery.
