Kenneth E. Trout, 87, 117 E. 4th St., Warren, died at 5:25 p.m. Sunday (April 23, 2006) at
the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.
Mr. Trout farmed in Huntington County and had worked for 20 years at Fisher Body in
Marion, retiring in 1962. He was a 77-year member of the First Baptist Church in Warren
and a 1937 graduate of Warren High School.
He was born Dec. 9, 1918, in Warren, to Harley E. and Ethel Bennett Trout. He married Mary
L. Dearth on April 27, 1941, in Mt. Etna, She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Larry D. Trout of Warner Robins, Ga.; a daughter,
Darlene E. Shelley of Fishers; three brothers, J. Harold Trout and Roger D. Trout, both of
Warren, and Robert L. Trout of Warsaw; a sister, Rose Marie Trout of Toledo, Ohio; seven
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight B. Trout, and a sister, M. Ladyle.
Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Glancy Funeral Homes-H. Brown & Son Chapel,
Warren; and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Warren, where
services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Bob Bothast officiating.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
Memorial gifts may be made to the organ fund of the First Baptist Church, Warren, or to
Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana, 265 W. Water St., Berne IN 46711.
