Joan runs the Indiana Room and Diane assists. They both do a great job and
both have been a big help to me on several occasions. I certainly can't
thank them enough and hope those of you that use their facilities enjoy the
same successes. If you can't make it there in person, take a look at their
web site (linked to the Huntington County site). They offer research
assistance via the US Mail.

I just wanted to second Connie's comments about the Huntington Library. The
Genealogy Section--and the woman who manages it--is terrific. However, you
should know that she is not there every day. It's worth working your
schedule around hers. Sorry I can't remember her name; she was very helpful
to me.

J Lee Nichols, Cemeteries of Huntington Co: There are about 67
cemeteries
in
the county. The best place for information in Huntington Co is the
Public
library in Htgn. The librarian there is great. She knows lots and lots
about the county and the library has tons of information to research plus
trees for families of Htgn Co.
If there's any thing else I can do to help just email me I live about 14
miles from the library.
Hi Sandy, Sandy is a Cuz of mine and she teases me a lot about good ol'
Batson Cemetery, because I got the begebies scared out of me there. <G>
