We are having this cemetery information program this coming Thursday hopefully to get the
public involved and would very much like to have you come and explain to the meeting how
the Indiana Cemetery Heritage Sign Imitative works and its goals, just a few minutes. I
will buy lunch
The public is invited to a special free, open to the public presentation on the history,
significance, and restoration of Henry County Pioneer Cemeteries, sponsored by the Henry
County Cemetery Commission @ Hosted by the New Castle/Henry County Public Library.
The program starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29th in the Public Library Auditorium.376

Guest speakers are: Dr.Tom Hamm, Historian and Archivist at Earlham College, speaking on
the origins of the early cemeteries and traditions
Henry County Cemetery Historian Bud Bush, speaking on the origin of the HCCC and some of
our projects and pit falls over the last ten years. and
Jeanie Regan-Dinius, Director of special initiatives programs DNR-DHPA. Speaking on
cemetery law and legal matters in the cemeteries.
Refreshments will be available. Some cemetery pamphlets will be available
