Could someone list the names and addresses of Indiana of the politicians
to contact regarding HB 1540. I live in Texas but I visit Indiana for
10 days each year doing my family history and I would like to make my
feelings known on the the topic.
I spend over $2000 during that 10 days in Indiana. This is for
documents, gasoline, food, hotel lodging, markers for graves, and other
assorted expenses. I may not vote in Indiana but politicians understand
better when you put a $$$ sign on the cost of a proposed bill. If every
researcher who has ever spent money in Indiana contacted the politicians
and let them know the potential loss of revenue that could result from
this bill it may well be defeated. The potential loss of revenue could
amount to millions of dollars a year. That would certainly get their
attention.
