If any records are to be found I would also like to hear/see of them. My ancestors were
Browns and are almost all buried in the cemetery. I was through there a few years back
and tried to take as many Brown family headstone pictures as I could manage to find. Most
of them are tied to my maternal grandmother. Susan Relief Rainbolt Keller. Thanks in
advance for any information.Suzanne Keller Conradchilisnana(a)gmail.com

Subject: [INHARRIS] Brown's or Potato Run Church
We're long-time Harrison Conty researchers, but we're just now
re-subscribing to the list after a long absence.
Our primary interests in the area are the Brown and Trobaugh families --
and tangentially, the Coles.
Right now, we're searching for any old records that might still exist from
the old Brown's Church in Scott County, also known as "Potato Run". We
believe that it was initially formed by two Brown brothers, sons of George
Brown Senior. They were born in Virginia, but migrated with their families to
Greene County Tennessee, where they each married prior to coming to
Harrison County Indiana.
We heap blessings on the person who performed the extensive and meticulous
survey of the cemetery, but we'd like to know is any records exist about
baptisms, deaths, births, etc., from about 1815 onward?
Best regards to Harrison researchers,
Jim Patrick
