I obtained printed records of my ancestor's, Henry and Willam Rafferty's
marriages to Hancock family girls in 1845 and 1847 from the Harrison County
Clerks's Office around 2001 and have them in my compilations. Washington
County Historical Society also help me and my late mother's research, who
sent me pages from the Harrison County Atlas showing the section of Blue
River twp where my ancestors and other relations by marriage had land, plus
the advice to write the Harrison county clerk and kindly sent me a page
showing the marriage book reference numbers. She said there were no death
records before 1882.

I checked the three sites on Ancestry that have the marriage record
indexes. They do not have the printed record. This may or may nor be
available on the LDS site
www.pilot.familysearch.com. They are editing and
putting a lot of records online.

I have been going through
Ancestry.com for marriage records on early
ancestry and found that I have been able to print some off from the
website
itself.? I cannot find where I located these though as I would like to
reprint them as the two I have are quite blurry.???I cannot tell if they
are
1867 or 1869 but are these available to print off yet.? I know I have done
lots of them from Vigo County but these 2 are for Harrison County.? Please
advise.
Thank you.
