Sorry about the delay!
No I haven't corresponded with that researcher.
It could be that my Keller family did live in the Frederick area. My line definitely was
in PA in the early 1700s.
I have corresponded with another researcher who tells me that there were two lines of
Kellers in Harrison County, IN. Whether the two lines are connected, who knows? I'm
still not entirely sure how mine got from PA to Harrison!

have you corresponded with Chocy?? I'm copying her - I
believe her Kellers started in VA? - This is what she sent
me.
?
I am looking for a Jonathan or John KELLER who went? to
Indiana; but was never heard from again. When his father
died in Frederick? County his sibilings declared they could
not locate him.

Hi!
A search of LDS film #549381, Harrison County Court Records
yielded results for
families named in the headlines. Those names are
families all connected with my
family lines.
Very few of the records had page numbers.
1)page 4, U.S. vs. Samuel C. Tinley, on same, April term
1817. On motion of the
prosecuting attorney and it appearing to the satisfaction
of the court that the
defendant has not been arrested and that he is not an
inhabitant of this state.
It is ordered that this case be dismissed.
2)page 8, Thomas Gill vs. Samuel C. Tinley & others,
April term 1817.
Petition 7 summons. Defendant's attorney Reuben W.
Nelson petitioned to
quash.
3)Thomas Gill vs. Samuel C. Tinley et. al., petition
and summons. One
defendant, Jonathan Keller, cannot gainsay the plaintiff's
action but that
it is just. Therefore, the court orders plaintiff to
receive $100.
4)Jonathan Keller vs. James Pell et. al., in debt.
April term 1817.
5)April term 1817, 5th day. Edward Smith vs. Jonathan
Keller; from &
conversion. Jury couldn't reach a verdict; dismissed
and continued.
6)April term 1818, 7th day; James McKindle vs. John &
Simon Tindall
7)November term 1818, 1st day. William Terry, called
to grand jury duty.
8)April term 1819, 1st day; Indiana vs. James Tindall,
indictment for riot.
Jury found him guilty; fined 50 cents.
9)August term 1819, 10th day; Seth Levenworth vs. William
Terry, an appeal;
continued.
10)November term 1819, 11th day; Indiana vs. Jonathan
Keller, assault &
battery.
11)November term, 1819, November 30, 1819; Keller pleads
guilty, fined $1.00.
12)November term 1819, 10th day; Levenworth vs. William
Terry, appeal. Appeal
failed; neglecting to move his right to a ferry on Big Blue
River.
I am particulary interested in the Terry and Tinley
families. My strong
suspicion now is that Samuel C. Tinley was the father of
Sarah Tinley, wife of
James Adams, my 3rd gr grandfather. I
suspect that William Terry is the father
of Sarah Tinley's mother, Sarah
Terry. Sarah Terry shows birth in North
Carolina, she died in Harrison County, IN in 1877.
The Kellers might be connected with my Cotner family.
I would be glad to correspond with anyone researching these
families.
